Speeding leads to car accident, 17-year-old’s death
Driver charged with misdemeanor death by vehicle

On October 31, 2008, two 17-year-old males were involved in a fatal car accident along Zack Mills Road in Benson, North Carolina, when their truck ran off the road.
The passenger died at the scene of the car accident, while the driver was taken to WakeMed where he was treated and released. Highway Patrol has charged the driver in the fatal car accident with misdemeanor death by vehicle and exceeding a safe speed.
