Two killed, four critically injured in commercial truck accident
2-year-old killed when truck ran stop sign, ran into SUV
On August 24, 2008, a tractor-trailer truck was traveling in Texas County, Oklahoma, when it ran a stop sign, getting into a truck accident. The truck hit a sports utility vehicle (SUV), which rolled over before stopping upside down in a ditch.
Two passengers in the SUV, an 18-year-old and a 2-year-old, were killed in the commercial truck accident. The 29-year-old driver and three passengers, including two young boys, were transported to an area hospital, where they are all in critical condition.
Authorities said no one in the SUV was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the tractor-trailer truck accident. The fatal truck accident is currently under investigation.
