Man awarded $700K in commercial truck accident lawsuit
Tractor-trailer truck accident knocked man unconscious, caused lower-body numbness
In October 2008, a man who was injured in a commercial truck accident was awarded $700,000 in a personal injury lawsuit against the employer of the man responsible for the accident.
The man was driving north on US 75 in Oklahoma in October 2006 when his vehicle was hit from behind by a tractor-trailer truck. The man was knocked unconscious and underwent two shoulder and two back surgeries, but still has pain and lower-body numbness.
Personal injury lawyers for the injured man claimed the at-fault truck driver was speeding and sleep-deprived at the time of the tractor-trailer truck accident.
